Appealing unpaid items
If you still don't pay, the unpaid item is recorded on your account. eBay may place restrictions on buyers' accounts if unpaid items have been recorded. Note: The seller doesn't have the ability to remove the unpaid item from your account—you'll need to contact eBay directly. For more information, see the unpaid item policy.
How to appeal
If you have proof that you paid for the item before an unpaid item case closes, you can appeal the unpaid item by filling out the online unpaid item appeal form.
What if I have a reason for not paying?
Although you're expected to pay for all items that you purchase or win, there may be cases in which you feel you have a valid reason for not paying. Check the table below for guidance.
