Tracking Saved Searches and Sellers with My eBay

Save time by storing your favourite searches and sellers in My eBay. You can view all your saved searches and sellers in the Organise section, or a snapshot of these on the Summary page.

Saving searches

You can save up to 100 searches for easy viewing. You can even have eBay automatically search for items that interest you and notify you when new matching items are listed. Once you save a search, you can run the search at any time and edit the search, as needed.

To save a search:

  1. Search for item(s) that interest you Search

  2. Click the Save this search link next to the number of search results. link next to the title of your search results.

    Note: If you'd like to receive automatic email notification when new matching items are listed, select how long you'd like to receive these emails in the pull down box. (The check box for receiving email notification is selected by default.) Email notifications are sent once a day and can contain up to 20 items that match your search criteria.

  3. Once you're finished click the Save button.

Viewing and organising saved searches

To display your saved searches, click Saved searches from the left navigation menu in My eBay. By default, your saved searches appear in the How about these? section at the bottom of My eBay pages. You can also customise My eBay to move or hide them.

Tip: You can sort your saved searches by creation date or alphabetically, based on what works best for you.

Saving sellers and Stores

You can save sellers and eBay Stores that you want to find quickly in the future. You can also add or remove sellers from your list as often as you like.

  • To add a seller to your list, click the Add to Saved Sellers link from any item page. You can also save a seller by choosing Save this seller in the Take action menu next to any item on your Buy page. menu next to any item from the My eBay Buying Section.

  • To add a Store to your list, click Add to Saved Stores link fromthe eBay Store page.

Receive top picks from your saved sellers

To receive top picks from your saved seller by email:

  1. Go to My eBay » click Saved sellers (from the left navigation menu)

  2. From the Saved Sellers section, Email me top picks from my saved sellers link.

  3. Select how often you want to receive emails: once a week, once every two weeks, or once a month.

  4. Click the Save button.
