How can I use PayPal to pay when my seller doesn't have a PayPal logo on the listing?

If for some reason you are unable to pay from eBay using the Pay Now button, or if you decide to pay for an item with PayPal after you complete Checkout, you can pay for eBay items directly from PayPal.

To pay for an eBay item directly through PayPal:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.

  2. Click the "Send Money" tab.

  3. Click the "Pay for eBay Items" link.

  4. Click the Pay button next to the item for which you would like to send a payment.

  5. If necessary, edit the details of your payment.

  6. Click the Continue button.

  7. Click the Send Money button.

Important: For your eBay items to appear on the 'Pay for eBay items' page, you'll need to add your eBay account to your PayPal profile. This is different from linking your eBay and PayPal accounts.

To add your eBay account to your PayPal profile:

  1. Click the "My Account" tab.

  2. Click the "Profile" subtab.

  3. Click "Auctions" located in the "Selling Preferences" column.

  4. Click the Add button.

  5. Enter your eBay User ID and password.

  6. Click the Add button.
