Product information section

This section of the Product Details page contains all of the product specific.

Product Name

This is a required field and is used to display the product name.

Part Number
  • This is an optional field that you can use to identify your product.

  • It can be any alphanumeric (letters and numbers only) identifier that you choose to assign to your product.

Folder

This drop-down menu is prepopulated with the name of the folder where the product is stored.

Quantity Available to List
  • If you want Selling Manager Pro to track the quantity of your inventory, you can enter the number you have to list.

  • If you change this value, the Total on Hand will be automatically recalculated.

  • If you delete the contents of the field and leave it blank, Selling Manager Pro will no longer track the quantity for your product.

Average Unit Cost
  • This is an optional field that you can use to track the cost per item for your product.

  • If you change this field, it will update all scheduled listings associated with your product and all listings that you create in the future for your product. Active and sold listings that launched prior to any update to the Average Unit Cost field, will reflect the old Unit Cost in your Selling Manager Pro Sales Report.

Average Sell Price

  • This field is calculated based on the selling price for your product over the last 30 days. You cannot update this field.

  • This value is calculated once daily by dividing the gross merchandise sales (GMS) for your product by the quantity of items sold over the last 30 days.

  • If you sell your product items in different currencies, the average selling price will be displayed in US$.

  • If none of your products have ever been listed, the field will be prepopulated with a dash (-).

  • If you file an Unpaid Item against a sold listing associated with your product, it will not be included in the Average Sell Price calculation.

Average Success Ratio

  • This is a calculated value for your product over the last 30 days. You cannot update this field.

  • The Average Success Ratio is defined by the following formula:
Sold items that ended in the last 30 days / (currently active listings + sold items that ended in the last 30 days + unsold listings that ended in the last 30 days).

  • If listings associated with your product have not been created or have not ended, the field will be prepopulated with a double dash (- -).

Inventory allocation chart

Note: If you elect not to track quantity, (if you have not entered a value in the Quantity Available to List field) the inventory allocation chart will not appear.

  • The chart summarises the quantities of your product that are available to list or are associated with a pending listing, an active listing or a sold listing with a paid and waiting to ship status. These quantities are automatically updated in real time as the listings associated with your product go through the selling cycle.

  • Clicking each of the numbers takes you to the corresponding filtered view for the product.

    • Available to List quantity displays the Update Quantity page.

    • Scheduled quantity displays only the scheduled listings that are associated with your product.

    • Active quantity displays only active listings that are associated with your product.

    • Sold - Waiting to Post quantity displays only sold listings with a Paid & Waiting to Post status that are associated with your product. Sold listings with a "Paid & Waiting to Post" status that you have archived will not be included in this view.

The restock alert section

The restock alert section appears differently depending on how your product was created and managed.

If you elected to track the quantity of your inventory and set a restock alert when you created your product, the restock alert section will include an "Alert" check box. (This check box is selected by default, based on how you created or previously managed the product).
