Your Payment Due Date

Important note: Automatic payments are only available for eBay Singapore-registered users at this time.

Depending on when you created your seller's account, your invoice date is either the 15th of the month or the last day of the month. You'll receive your invoice by email within five days of the invoice date. It is not possible to change your invoice due date. The date you receive your invoice determines your payment due date and your automatic payment schedule.

eBay billing cycles

The following are the two billing cycles.

Billing Cycle Date

When will I receive my invoice?

15th of the month

Between the 16th and 20th of the month

Last day of the month

Between the 1st and 5th of the month

You can determine your invoice date by viewing your account status and looking for the day of the month in the Billing cycle column.

Payment due date

Your invoice will include your previous month's account activity as well as any overdue amounts. Your full payment is due by the next invoice date. For example, if you receive an invoice on May 20th, your payment is due by June 15th.

Important: You do not need to make a payment if you have an automatic payment method on file. To find out if you have an automatic payment method on file already, or if you need to make a one time payment, look at the Payment section of your invoice.

Your payment will be automatically processed and your payment due date met if you:

  • Have a valid credit card on file.

If you do not have any of these payment options on your account, you will need to make a payment by the next invoice date. This will keep your account current. Learn more about how to make a one time payment or add an automatic payment method to your account.

eBay automatic payment schedule

You can have eBay automatically deduct your selling fees from your bank account, or charge these fees to a credit card. The timing of this charge will vary based on your invoice date and payment method. Please review Selecting an Automatic Payment Method.

Invoice Date

When will my credit card be charged?

15th of the month

5 to 7 days after receipt of invoice

Last day of the month

5 to 7 days after receipt of invoice

Note: In the event your seller's account is suspended for any reason, any amount due on your account will immediately become due and payable. eBay reserves the right to immediately charge any amount you have not previously disputed to the payment method that you are using.

Payment requirements

  • eBay requires payment in full each month on accounts with balances of $1.00 or more.

  • If you have not paid your balance by the payment due date each month, you will be billed a late payment charge of 1.5% of the balance overdue or the highest amount permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower. You will be charged interest the day after the payment due date, each month until the overdue amount is paid.

  • If your account becomes overdue, your account may be suspended for non-payment, and you may be responsible for collection costs.
