Printing Invoices and Postage Labels

You can print invoices and postage labels directly from your sales records. Selling Manager allows you to print individual postage documents and invoices. Using Selling Manager Pro you can also print postage labels and print in bulk (up to 200 pages at a time).

You can print the following:

Important: Before you print, you need to set your browser to print background colours and images.

To print individual invoices, packing slips and postage labels:

  1. From the Sold View, click the check box next to the sold item you want to print.

  2. Click the Print Button.

    Note: you can also print an invoice from the sales record.

  3. From the Print page, select the type of printout.

    • Invoice/Handling slip

    • Postage labels

    • Invoice for your own records

    Note: Selling Manager Pro provides you with another printing option: Postage labels.

  4. In the pop-up window that appears, use the scroll bar to preview the page that will be printed. Once you are satisfied with how the page will be printed, click Print in the browser window.

To edit information for a page you are attempting to print, go the corresponding Sales Record. When you are finished updating the sales record, save your changes. Your changes will be reflected the next time you print.

Customising your invoices

Selling Manager will allow you to customise your invoice using the following information:

  • Your own Web site Address. This gives you the opportunity to market your personal web site to your buyers.

  • Add a personalised logo. You can choose from either displaying your own customised logo on the invoice or re-using your eBay store logo.

  • Personalised message. This gives you the opportunity to save a customised message to your buyers on your invoice. This could for example be a thank you for buying note or your personalised payment information.

To customise your invoices:

  1. From the Print page, select the "Edit Invoice template" link.

  2. Make your changes, including adding personal messages and photos.

  3. Click the Preview button to review your template.

  4. Click Save to Template to save the changes.

Configuring your browser for printing background colours and images

To print invoices properly, your browser must be configured to print background colours and images.

To configure Internet Explorer to print invoices and postage labels:

  1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet Options. An Internet Options window opens.

  2. From the Internet Options window, click the Advanced tab. The Advanced tab displays advanced configuration options.

  3. Scroll down to Printing options, and check the box next to Print background colours and images.

  4. Click OK to save your changes.

Bulk Printing (Selling Manager Pro)

As a Selling Manager Pro subscriber, you can print as many as 200 invoices or postage labels at one time from the Sold View.

To print multiple invoices and postage labels:

  1. In the Sold View, check the box next to the listings that you want to print invoices or postage labels for and click the Print button.
    To select all of your Sold items, check the box in the heading bar above the list of sold items

  2. From the Print page, select the printout you want, and click the Continue button.

  3. In the pop-up window that appears, use the scroll bar to preview each of the pages that will be printed.

  4. Once you are satisfied with how the pages will be printed, click Print in the browser window. If you need to edit information for a specific page, go the corresponding sales record. When you are finished updating the sales record, save your changes. Your changes will be reflected the next time you print.
