What are the requirements for selling globally?

With the Global Buying Hub you can make your listings available to buyers worldwide. To sell globally, your item and category need to meet the selling requirements for the eBay site in each country where you sell, and you as a seller must be eligible for the global site. Qualifications include:

  • A minimum Feedback score of 10

  • Your eBay account is in good standing

  • You have a PayPal account and are PayPal Verified

  • You meet the selling requirements of the sites where you want visibility

Item requirements

When you trade internationally, you need to verify that you’re complying with laws in other countries, which can differ from laws in your own country. The category you choose must be eligible for international site visibility, and not be a restricted item. If the category isn’t eligible, you won’t see International site visibility as a choice when you list your item. You can select international site visibility only for the eBay sites shown on the Sell Your Item form. Other requirements are:

  • Your listing must specify International Postage.

  • You need to select either the auction or fixed price (Buy It Now) format.

  • You can’t use Good ‘Til Cancelled fixed price listings.

  • You can’t use eBay Stores Inventory format.

  • You can’t list from other eBay websites, such as Half.com or Shopping.com.

  • On eBay Motors, only the Parts and Accessories category is eligible.

  • You need to specify PayPal as a payment method.
