Contest Timeline     The Contest begins at 00:00:01 GST on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 and ends at 23:59:59 GST on Sunday, March 2, 2008 ("Contest Period").           Rules of the Contest     Two (2) Contest questions will be posted online at http://www.ebay.com/contenderasiacontest/. The Contest questions will comprise (1) a multiple-choice question; and (2) an open-ended question.     Participants must watch eBay's Contender Asia episode (Episode 5 on 13th February 2008 (1)) to find the answers to the Contest questions, then submit their answers online at http://www.ebay.com/contenderasiacontest/.     There is no limit on the number of entries each participant may submit, but each participant will only be entitled to win one prize in the Contest, based on his or her best entry.     All entries must be received by eBay by 23:59:59 GST on Sunday, March 2, 2008.     A total of 51 entries with the correct answer to question 1 and best answers to question 2 will be selected. Out of these 51 entries, the one with the best answer to question 2 will win the Top Prize, and the remaining 50 entries will be awarded the other prizes in order of merit.       Note: (1) The scheduling of episodes is subject to change and participants should check with their respective television and/or program guides for updates.           Eligibility and Prizes     Eligibility of participants The Contest is open to all eBay users who are legal residents of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and/or Vietnam, and have valid postal addresses registered in relation to their eBay accounts, in any of these countries.         All participants must be of 18 years of age or older.         All participants must have an eBay account in Good Standing. Participants will not be eligible for the Contest if his or her eBay account is not in Good Standing. In order for a participant's account to be deemed in Good Standing as that term is used herein, the account must not have a hold status and/or be suspended, limited or past due as of March 2, 2008. In the event any account is suspended, cancelled or terminated at any time for any reason whatsoever during the Contest period, eBay shall at its sole discretion, revoke the eligibility for such account holder(s) to participate in the Contest, without incurring any liability and/or without giving any prior notice.

Employees of eBay International A.G. ("eBay") and all its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible.       Prizes Top Prize: A pair of VIP tickets for the Contender Asia Grand Finale to be held in Singapore, worth approximately USD $1,000 (excluding air fare & accommodation). This includes backstage Meet-The-Contenders session and autographed Contender Asia Apparel.         10 Consolation Prizes: One Contender Asia Tee-Shirt each         20 Consolation Prizes: One Contender Asia Caps each         20 Consolation Prizes: One Contender Asia Mugs each       How prizes will be awarded Winners will be selected after the end of the Contest Period and notified by eBay via email no later than March 31, 2008 .         All winners so notified who do not respond by the time stated in the notification from eBay, shall be disqualified from the Contest and their prize(s) forfeited, provided always that in the event of unclaimed prize(s), eBay may in its sole discretion decide on the disposal of the said prize(s).         The prizes will be sent to the winners approximately six to eight weeks after the end of the Contest Period.           Other Terms & Conditions:     eBay reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding the Contest, and no correspondence in relation thereto will be entertained.     eBay also owns all rights, title and interest in and to any and all photographs taken and/or initiated by eBay in relation to the Contest, and shall be entitled and have the exclusive right to air, publish and/or use the same for its advertising and/or promotional purposes.     The Contest is subject to all the terms and conditions contained herein and by participating in the Contest all participants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.     eBay reminds participants of the nature and limitations of the Internet and is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software failure that may affect entry to the promotion or reaching the specified targets.     eBay shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence) or breach of statutory duty or in any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by the participant resulting directly or indirectly from the Contest, provided that nothing in these terms shall limit eBay's liability for death, personal injury or fraud. eBay is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials related to the Contest; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected prizes; or for transactions and/or emails that are lost, misdirected, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, human or other error; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, including inability to access any web site associated with the Contest, or process any transaction thereon. If in eBay's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Contest, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest, eBay reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, to modify or suspend the Contest, or to terminate the Contest. In all matters relating to the interpretation and application of any rule or phase of the Contest, the decision of eBay shall be final. eBay reserves the right to cancel, amend or revoke the Contest at any time due to reasonable business consideration or circumstances beyond its control. Any attempt by an participant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, eBay reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any attempts by an individual to access any web site associated with the Contest via a bot script or other brute force attack or any other unauthorised means will result in the IP address becoming ineligible. Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited.     This promotion cannot be resold, transferred, or combined with any other offer, discount, or promotion.
