- Information about the prizes and how to
enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions for the eBay Singapore
"Great eBay/PayPal Shopping Spree" Promotional Lucky
Draw (Promotion). Entry into the Promotion is
deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entries not in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions are ineligible.
- Entry is open to all residents of Singapore
over the age of 18 years. Employees of the Promoter, its associated
companies, suppliers, distributors, agents and their immediate
family members, and persons whose account with eBay have been
temporarily or indefinitely suspended or made inactive by the
Promoter (as defined in clause 34) during the Promotion Period
(as defined in clause 10), are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
- Entrants are responsible for ensuring that
all their contact details registered with or submitted to the
Promoter are correct. Entrants will forfeit their right to claim
the Prize (as defined in clause 17) in the event that their contact
details are inaccurate or wrong. Members of eBay may check or
update their contact information with eBay by visiting the Personal
Information section of My eBay at http://www.ebay.com.sg.
- To qualify for entry into this Promotion,
you must at the time of entry:

be validly registered as a member
of
http://www.ebay.com.sg (in accordance with all applicable
terms and conditions, policies and your User Agreement with
eBay); and |
b) |
have a valid and verified Paypal account
in good standing, with current contact information throughout
the Promotion Period. In order for an account to be deemed in
Good Standing as that term is used herein, the account must
not have a hold status and/or be suspended or past due as of
and from the starting date of the Promotion Period. Please visit

and conditions that will apply in that regard. |

| 5. |
To enter this Promotion,
prior to the end of the Promotion Period you must:
a) |
Purchase at least 1 item
on http://www.ebay.com.sg
from sellers that offer PayPal as a preferred mode of
payment; and |
b) |
Pay for the item using PayPal. |
Furthermore, your eBay account must be in good standing and
not be suspended for the duration of the Promotion Period. |

Upon your payment being successfully
processed, each of your completed transactions will be automatically
entered into the pool of entries. |

7. |
Duplicate or
multiple purchases logged under the same eBay user account
will be permitted. |
| |

| 8. |
All eBay members must conform
to eBay’s policies and user agreements applicable during the
Promotion Period. |

| 9. |
All participants of this Promotion
who meet the qualifying criteria as set out in these Terms and
Conditions will be deemed by the Promoter as being eligible
to win a Prize (as defined in clause 16). |

| 10. |
This Promotion commences at 00:00:01
Singapore Time, i.e. GMT + 8 hours (SGT) on 10 June 2008 and closes
on 23:59:59 SGT on 24 June 2008 (Promotion Period). |

11. |
All entries submitted
for this Promotion must be received by the Promoter by the end of
the Promotion Period. |

| 12. |
From the pool of all the completed
transactions purchased from http://www.ebay.com.sg by eligible entrants
during the Promotion Period and as logged by the Promoter’s
computer systems, the winners (Winners) will be the selected transactions
determined at random solely by a computerized lucky draw conducted
by representatives of the Promoter at the premises of the eBay Southeast
Asia office at 89 Neil Road, #03-01, Singapore 088849 on 14 July 2008
at or around 10:00:00 SGT. |

| 13. |
The lucky draw will be witnessed
by an independent third party auditor, namely Global Corporate Advisory
Pte Ltd (Company Registration No. 200506662Z), whose registered address
is at 200 Jalan Sultan, #08-02, Textile Centre, Singapore 199018. |

| 14. |
There will be 15 Winners for each
day of the Promotion Period, or 225 Winners in this Promotion in total.

| 15. |
No duplicate Winners will be allowed;
namely, each eBay user account is only entitled to win 1 Prize. Any
duplicate Winner entries drawn will be rejected and redrawn until
the next unique new Winner is determined. |

| 16. |
The total prize pool for this promotion
is valued up to S$22,500. |
| |
|
| 17. |
The prize that will be awarded
to the each of the Winners (Prize) will comprise
of:
a) |
Reimbursement of the purchase price of that eBay item purchased by the
Winner (which comprises the winning transaction selected in the lucky draw process
set out in clause 12), up to the value of SG$100, via PayPal credit paid to
the Winner’s PayPal account. This excludes shipping & delivery charges. |

| 18. |
Winners must have a valid registered PayPal account in order to receive
their Prize. |
| |
|
| 19. |
Each Prize will be transferred to the respective Winner’s valid registered
PayPal accounts within 45 days of the Winners being determined. In order for
the Prize to be transferred into a Winner’s PayPal account, the Winner
must actively accept the transfer. |

|
| 20. |
Entrants are responsible for ensuring
that all their contact details registered with eBay and PayPal are
correct. Entrants will forfeit their right to claim the Prize in the
event that their contact details are inaccurate or wrong or they have
an invalid eBay or PayPal account. Entrants may check or update their
contact information by visiting the Profile tab on the PayPal site
at http://www.paypal.com
or the My Account section on the eBay site at http://www.ebay.com.

| 21. |
Winners who:
a) |
reject the PayPal credit (and who will by such conduct be deemed to have
rejected the Prize); or |
b) |
who have not actively accepted the PayPal credit within 2 months of the
date of the Winners being determined,
|
will be deemed as having forfeited their right to the Prize.
The Promoter will donate the forfeited Prizes to the Community Chest
of Singapore. |

| 22. |
The Promoter retains the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of
equal or greater value, subject to any approvals necessary. |
| |
|
| 23. |
No costs or expenses, other than those expressly set out in these Terms
and Conditions will be included in the Prize and all costs and expenses other
than those expressly included within the Prize in these Terms and Conditions
are the responsibility of the Winner. |

| 24. |
The Prize is not transferable or
exchangeable. |
| |
|

| 25. |
The Promoter will notify the Winners within 7 days of the date of the Winners
being determined, by their email address listed in their eBay registration details. |

| 26. |
Within 7 days of the date of the
Winners being determined, each Winners’ first initial, surname, truncated
form of username (e.g. a**b) and the eBay item number of the winning
transaction will also be published on the announcement board of http://www.ebay.com.sg.

| 27. |
Each Winners’ first initial, surname,
truncated form of username (e.g. a**b) and the eBay item number of
the winning transaction will also be published in an advertisement
in a local daily publication, namely The New Paper (published by Singapore
Press Holdings Ltd (Company Registration No. 198402868E)), on 21 July
2008. |

All entries are the property of
the Promoter. All personal information will be held and dealt with
in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Promoter which is available
on the eBay website (https://pages.ebay.com.sg/help/policies/privacy-policy.html). |

Each entrant consents to the Promoter and its agents collecting the information
provided in their entry in order to conduct the Promotion. Neither the Promoter
nor its agents will use the information collected in the course of the Promotion
for any marketing purposes, other than in connection with the Promotion. An
entrant may access and correct any personal information held by the Promoter
in relation to that entrant, upon request to the Promoter |

| 30. |
The Promoter’s decisions with regard
to the selection of the Winners are final, and no correspondence will
be entered into, including in the event of a dispute. |

| 31. |
The Promoter is not liable for any
injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not
limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained
as a result of or in connection with participating in this Promotion
or receiving, taking or using the Prize, except for any liability
which cannot be excluded by law. Any tax liability arising as a result
of receiving, taking or using the Prize is the responsibility of the
Winner. |

Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's
database. The Promoter is not responsible for entries not received or the receipt
of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring
during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical
malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, lines, servers,
telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer
network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants
or any other person's handset or computer related to or resulting from participation
or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion. |

If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned,
the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the terms of
the Promotion including the Prize and these Terms and Conditions, subject to
approval from any relevant regulatory authorities. |

| 35. |
This Promotion has been authorised by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore,
pursuant to Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 799/2008) Notification under
the Common Gaming Houses Act (Chapter 49). |
