Help for Tracking and Payment Your Tracking ID is the unique identification number used by selected tracking providers to track user activities you generate for eBay. Before you can use the Editor Kit, you must choose the correct tracking provider on the "Create your Editor Kit" page. The amount of the payment you will receive in connection with your use of the Editor Kit will vary depending on whether you (1) have signed up to become a member of the eBay affiliate programme and selected a tracking provider associated with the eBay affiliate programme, (2) choose Mediaplex or DoubleClick as your tracking provider, or (3) decide not to be tracked by selecting the "Not an affiliate" option. Please note, in order to qualify to use Mediaplex or DoubleClick as your tracking provider, you must have an existing effective ad purchase agreement with eBay. If you choose a tracking provider associated with the eBay affiliate programme, your Tracking ID is your Affiliate ID (eg: Commission Junction PID). Please note that your Affiliate ID is NOT your affiliate account number. In addition, if you choose a tracking provider associated with the affiliate programme, payments will be made to you in accordance with the terms and conditions you agreed to when you registered as an eBay affiliate as well as those set forth in the service agreement you entered into with your chosen tracking provider. If you choose Mediaplex as your tracking provider, please contact your eBay account manager to obtain your Tracking ID. In addition, if you choose Mediaplex, payments will be made to YOU in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in your advertising agreement with eBay. As indicated above, in order to qualify to use Mediaplex as your tracking provider, you must have an existing effective ad purchase agreement with eBay. If you prefer not to be tracked, please select "Not an Affiliate" in the Provider box. NOTE: you will not receive a payment from eBay or any other party in connection with your use of the Editor Kit.
