- The promotion period for this offer is between Nov 18, 2009 00:00:01 and Dec 31, 2009 23:59:59 (+0800 GMT) (“Promotion Period”).
- This promotion is open to selected sellers who have received an invitation from eBay sent to their email addresses registered with eBay, to participate in this promotion and:
- who, during their eBay registration process, have listed their country of residence as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam. Sellers must continue to maintain their country of residence in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam during the Promotion Period; and
- whose residential address as registered or maintained with eBay are accurate, up-to-date and valid; and
- whose eBay accounts are in good standing throughout the Promotion Period.
- eBay has the absolute discretion at any time to determine or cancel the eligibility of an otherwise eligible seller and shall not be obliged to give any reason thereof.
- All sellers who receive an invitation from eBay sent to their email addresses registered with eBay will automatically be registered for the promotion.
- Only listings made during the Promotion Period, using either Auction or Fixed Price format, in any categories except Motors, Real Estate, Specialty Services and Textbooks are eligible for rebates.
- Sellers must, during the Promotion Period, offer free shipping on at least twenty five percent (25%) of Completed Listings on eBay.com, subject to a minimum of 25 instances of Completed Listings, in order to be eligible to 25% rebate on Final Value Fee. Completed Listings mean listings that end normally (with or without the item being sold) before December 31 2009 23:59:59 (+0800 GMT). For the avoidance of doubt, listings removed by eBay due to violations or contravention of eBay policies will not count towards Completed Listings. In addition, listings which are subject to “Unpaid Item” disputes will not be eligible for the benefits under this promotion.
- The rebate on the Final Value Fee is limited to a maximum of USD$2 per Completed Listing, provided that eBay will only make payment of any rebates if the total sum of rebates due to the seller is at least USD$1.00.
- To qualify for the promotion, free-shipping items must also have zero (0) insurance charge for buyers unless the insurance is optional and requested by buyers. In addition, sellers must not include additional fees and terms such as ‘mandatory handling fee’, ‘compulsory packing fee’, etc. in the listing description.
- Any listing removed by eBay due to violations or contravention of eBay policies or the law will not be eligible for the rebates under this Promotion and eBay reserves the right to adjust the sum due in respect of the Final Value Fee by withdrawing any rebate that may already be given or reflected in a particular billing account for the disqualified listing.
- Sellers will receive their rebates for eligible transactions through the PayPal accounts associated with the corresponding eBay accounts.
- Sellers’ PayPal accounts must be linked (i.e. “associated”) with the corresponding eBay account by Dec 31, 2009 in order to be eligible to receive the credit.
- Sellers must actively accept the payment through PayPal within 30 days of it being credited.
- eBay’s decisions made in respect of this promotion, particularly the qualifications or eligibility of sellers or listings are final and are at its sole discretion, and no correspondence will be entered into with sellers, including in the event of a dispute.
- If in eBay’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or any other form of tampering with any portion of this promotion including the operation of the campaign or calculations of the discounts, or if computer viruses, bugs, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of this promotion, or if for any reason this promotion is not capable of running or continuing as planned, eBay reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, disqualify any individual concerned, suspected or involved in any of the aforesaid acts from this promotion, to modify this promotion (including the rewards and the terms and conditions), or to terminate this promotion without further notice, and where applicable, subject to approval from any relevant regulatory authorities.
- These terms and conditions will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all aspects in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and all participants hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
- The promoter of this promotion is eBay International AG, Helvetiatrasse 15-17, PO Box 133, 3000 Bern 6, Switzerland and eBay International AG may carry out this promotion or pursue marketing activities through its local subsidiaries.
