2.

Will this competition be too difficult for my primary school students to handle?
An online competition is chosen since the popularity of the Internet has resulted in the rise of e-commerce, which has relatively lower setup barriers and cost as compared to a traditional brick-&-mortar business. Online trading is also about creativity in sourcing for products which has potential to sell.

Since primary school students are more unfamiliar about doing business, teachers are encouraged to lend students their support in the competition.

3.

If my students are not able to attend the workshops, will they still be able to join in the competition?

If some of your students are already familiar with online trading e.g. registered eBay members, it may not be necessary for the participating students to attend the sessions.

No. In line with ACE's and TYEM's objectives for Enterprise Day 07, we want to provide the students with a real-life hands-on experience in doing their own business online. And as part of that, we try not to eliminate the realistic factors such as cost of material and marketing that are involved in doing a real business.

Getting Started
1. How do I get the best price?

Attract more buyers by writing a title that is descriptive and uses keywords that are relevant to the item you are selling.

Your start price should aim to attract as many potential buyers as possible. Many sellers start their item at $0.99 and experience great results.

Your description needs to provide buyers with all the information they need. Include information such as:

- Brand
- Age
- Condition
- Features, etc

On eBay you choose the payment methods you accept and the buyer pays the postage. Include the payment methods you accept, postage costs and any other charges so that buyers are aware of all costs prior to bidding.
Pictures tell a thousand words, so take clear photos of your items from several angles. Using eBay's Gallery Feature will ensure that your listing grabs their attention.
