Updates that impact your selling are now being consolidated with lead time to adapt. These updates are scheduled to launch starting June 15 and over the following few weeks unless specified below.

Clearly defined item conditions set buyer expectations, reduce questions

• New values for sellers to specify item condition more accurately; required for all new listings and re-listings in affected categories (Timeline: June; Impacted sites: US, UK, DE)
• For certain categories, sellers are required to specify item condition in all listings (Timeline: July; Impacted sites: all)

Improving buyer satisfaction and rewarding sellers for great service

• Buyer dispute cases now count as factor in seller requirements and rewards (Timeline: September; Impacted sites: US & UK)
• Simplification of payment and leave–feedback reminder emails (Timeline: June; Impacted sites: US only)
• Enhancement to member-to-member email communications (Timeline: June; Impacted sites: all)
• To highlight the most relevant listings from sellers providing great value and service, Featured First—the listing upgrade that allows items to be featured in the top two spots of Best Match search results—will be discontinued (applicable to eBay US).

Easier, more profitable selling

• New functionality and tools for bulk listing, editing, and relisting (Timeline: June; Impacted sites: all)
• New rewards for sharing your pictures (Timeline: June; Impacted sites: US, UK, DE)
